Need to shed a few pounds? Consider Aqua-Fit for a fun, low-impact workout or try our free lap swimming every weekday at Hancock Pool. You can also try one of the many classes offered at the Hancock Aerobics and Spin Center. There are classes happening everyday to fit your schedule and style of exercise.
If you need help getting motivated and staying on track, we have personal trainers available to design a custom workout routine for you. They can help you with your fitness goals and are certified by nationally recognized governing bodies.
The Health Promotion department offers education on diet, fitness and wellness. They can help you determine where you need to make adjustments and provide tools and education to help you get to your ideal fitness level. Preventative information is available along with health screenings and body composition support.
If physical competitions are more your speed, check out Semper Fit Special Events. Road races, triathlons, fun runs and unit competitions are offered throughout the year. You can also participate in team sports through our adult sports program.
Finally, MCCS maintains several gyms, outdoor fitness stations, trails and fitness centers available for use. Basketball courts, gyms, swimming pools and other recreational areas offer you a way to get fit and stay fit while living and working aboard the air station.
