Each September, NAADAC (the Association for Addiction Professionals) celebrates National Recovery Month, a national campaign aimed at raising awareness and understanding of substance use and mental health disorders.
Every year in our country, millions of Americans experience problems related to substance use and mental health. These disorders can contribute to a wide array of poor health and life outcomes when left untreated. The good news is that many support resources and treatments are available for those in need, especially here sy Cherry Point. Many people are able to find support and return to a better quality of life when they seek out help.
For more information on this campaign visit National Recovery Month. To find out more about treatment and support resources at and around Cherry Point, contact the Alcohol Abuse Prevention Specialist at 252-466-8413.
