New Employee Orientation (NEO) Checklist

We look forward to meeting you at NEO. There are 3 tabs that provide specific instructions on what you must complete prior to attending NEO.


All required documents are listed on this tab. You are required to complete, print, sign, and bring these forms with you to NEO. The form list indicates whether the form requires your signature or if it is read only. As you review the forms, please make note of any questions you may have. We must verify your employment eligibility with an I-9 form, using the acceptable document(s). In addition, direct deposit of your pay check to a checking or savings account is mandatory.

If you are selected into a Regular Status position, which is indicated on your offer letter, you are eligible to participate in a vast array of Employee Benefit plans. Please review the Benefits Tab to familiarize yourself with the plans. Please ensure that you have beneficiary information, to include name, social security number, dates of birth and a current address of any person(s) you wish to name as beneficiaries. This is for your information only. You are not required to complete any enrollment forms now but will be required to do so at orientation. I encourage you to take advantage of all the programs and services we offer to our employees.

The employee benefits package available to all regular full time and regular part time civilian Marine Corps non-appropriated fund (NAF) employees provides a full range of options, including health insurance, life insurance, a group retirement plan and a 401(k) savings plan.Enrollment in the benefits package is available to all eligible employees during their 31 day eligibility period.
